  • Congratulations to Dr. John Elliott who on October 12, 2004 was awarded the Medical Students' Association 2003-04 Phase I Award for Teaching Excellence and Phase I Excellence in Small Group Teaching Award.
  • Dr. D. Lorne Tyrrell has been elected to the Academy of Sciences of The Royal Society of Canada. The Department congratulates you on this achievement!
  • Dr. Edan Foley joined MMI as a new Assistant Professor in July 2004 and has taken up residence in 1-21 Medical Sciences Building. Dr. Foley hails most recently from San Francisco (originally Ireland). His lab uses high throughput RNA interference (RNAi) as a tool to identify the networks that regulate innate immune signaling in the model organism Drosophila melanogaster. Welcome Dr. Foley!
